The young Venezuelan artist Enrique Enn has positioned himself in the top 10 of Google under the category of street art for his unique style.
At just 25 years of age, Enrique Enn has become one of the most sought-after artists in the history of street art. Enn has performed works with the singers J Balvin and Bad Bunny, and recently with the Mexican soccer player Rodolfo Pizarro, an Inter Miami player.
Who is Enrique Enn? His real name is Alexis Enrique Novoa Pérez. He is an urban artist born in the city of San Cristóbal, Táchira state, Venezuela, who used to paint graffiti secretly with his friends when he was 14 years old. There he began to discover his true passion for this type of art.
The deep economic and social crisis that Venezuela was going through made him emigrate in 2014 with his sister and his best friend to Miami, shortly before he turned 18. They like many others had no family to wait for them.
Like most recent immigrants, Enn worked in all kinds of fields to support himself, but always with art as his goal. In 2016 he got a unique opportunity: to design the cover of the single "Pa 'Ti" by rapper Bad Bunny. From there, his path was on the rise and now he exhibits his works in many art galleries in Miami.
Enn's work draws a lot of attention for its mixed technique of combining aerosols with diamond dust or stencil. He has a polychromatic style very similar to digital design, according to art experts. That has led him to be well received by art critics and to position himself in an excellent place in the most famous search engine with only eleven years of career under his belt.
The Venezuelan press describes Enrique Enn as a “versatile artist who little by little has gained an exceptional position in the art industry, and that his current collaborations, deliveries, and presentations in art galleries have earned him respect and recognition from part of the main art critics of Miami.”
Enn is another example of a self-improvement story among Hispanic immigrants that teaches a very important lesson to never to give up. Like Pitbull or Emilio Estefan, this urban artist has managed to achieve the American dream. And he's just beginning.
