Mayor Francis Suarez welcomed the public on June 27th in the ribbon cutting ceremony of the newly installed playground at 1814 Brickell Park, located at 1814 Brickell Avenue in Miami, Florida.
The 1814 Brickell Park Playground hosts an array of elements suitable for small children between the ages of 2 and 5. These elements include bridges, ramps, climbers, a handbar, swings, slides, and gliders. In addition to the installation of the new playground, this project also included the improvements to the irrigation system, and the landscape and hardscape, as well as relocation of fencing to allow for expansion of the playground area.
Cost for design, construction, and management of the project totaled approximately $281,000 in funding from City of Miami Impact Fees and Contribution from General Fund.
