Celebrate Earth Month at the 36th Baynanza Biscayne Bay Cleanup Day on April 21

Residents are invited to be part of the largest shoreline cleanup in South Florida, the Baynanza Biscayne Bay Cleanup Day, on Saturday, April 21, 2018, from 9 a.m. to noon.

This year marks 36th Baynanza Biscayne Bay Cleanup Day, and will bring together the community to help restore and clean Biscayne Bay’s shoreline at 20 locations.

Volunteers at all the sites will receive a free commemorative T-shirt, and community service hours are available to all students who participate. There will also be entertainment, music, food and engaging environmental activities for the volunteers to enjoy at this year’s main cleanup site, Haulover Park, Miami Beach, Florida.

The Miami-Dade County Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources, Division of Environmental Resources Management, organizes this event with support from sponsors and other County agencies every year in April.
