Partner with CAHSD in the Summer Food Service Program to provide free meals over the summer

Miami-Dade County Community Action and Human Services Department (CAHSD) is thrilled to announce that its Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) will be back this summer to provide free nutritious meals for children under the age of 18.

They are looking for community partners to provide free meals to children and youth participating in summer programs, at no cost to the agency. Hot and cold meals are prepared using fresh, locally grown foods, and the menus are analyzed for their nutrient content. CAHSD also provides all participants with free nutrition education calendars filled with articles on healthy nutrition, recipes for families and hands-on nutrition activities for children to try at sites and at home.

These are some of the unique and individualized services that CAHSD alone provides for summer meals recipients and participating sites, making us an exclusive and exceptional sponsor in the community.

If you are interested in partnering with CAHSD this summer, please contact Dawn Ramey via email at ramrd@miamidade.gov or at (786) 469-4686. All forms and additional information are posted on this website.
