New online self-service from WASD

Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department: online self-service section for happy clients

Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD) has now initiated a new self-service component on their website which can be accessed 24-hours-a-day. Through this self-administrative online component you can see for example how much water did your household consume two years ago or you can compare bills or see your water and sewer account number in order to pay your bill.

“WASD is not only committed to delivering safe, reliable, drinking water to our 2.3 million customers each day, but to making the business aspects of our department as transparent and convenient to our customers as possible. Quality customer service is a core component to our department mission,” said WASD Director Lester Sola.

To register on this new WASD online service you need to use one last time your account number. After this step is completed, the authentication is really simple and you only have to use a username and a password to access your account. Then you have to go to the department's website at www.miamidade.gov/water and click on the green My Account button which is in the left side of the webpage to complete your one-time registration process.

In the near future there will be other additions to the self-service homepage, for example you will have the ability to change your personal contact information online rather than calling an agent. Also there will be available automated customer service chats to help you and answer your questions about billing.

This action was part of Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department priority to provide safe and reliable services for its clients. For more information about Department services please visit WASD’s website.
