Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez will be joined by Chairman Jean Monestime, members of the Board of County Commissioners, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue and Emergency Management, along with the American Red Cross, for a hurricane preparedness press conference today, May 24, at 11:00 a.m. at the Miami-Dade County Emergency Operations Center, 9300 NW 41 Street, in Doral.

The Mayor will explain the County’s efforts to prepare for the upcoming Hurricane Season that runs June 1 through November 30. The Press Conference will be webcast live on www.miamidade.gov and Periscoped on Twitter.
