During August 1 – September 30, restaurants offer three-course meals featuring signature dishes created by world-renowned chefs at reduced prices: Lunch/Brunch $23 and Dinner $39.

How it Works: New to Miami Spice? There is no membership or sign-up required to enjoy Miami Spice. Simply visit the individual webpage of the restaurant you want to visit and make sure to check the days of the week that the restaurant offers Miami Spice lunch/brunch or dinner. The XXII International Ballet Festival of Miami 2017 August 26 to September 17 is here with the best talent from the worlds’ most prestigious ballet companies come together for what is known to be the most important ballet festival in the US and it is right here in Miami.

In the Fall of 2017, Miami Hispanic Ballet will present the 22nd edition of the International Ballet Festival of Miami, recognized as one of the most successful in the US and the only one of its kind in the State of Florida, giving our residents and visitors the unique chance to view a wide range of local, national and international artists of exceptional merit. This Festival represents the most ambitious ballet project ever conceived in South Florida, the magnitude of its program, along with the prestige of the participating companies and the renowned principal ballet stars, have captured the attention of the most demanding audiences. The festival has accomplished the task of introducing every year over 100 artists from more than 20 ballet companies encompassing Europe, Asia, Latin America, and the USA, to the population of Miami-Dade, Miami Beach, as well as tourists.

The festival incorporates a Dance Film Series, Art Exhibits, Book Presentations, Workshops, Master Classes and it will take place at different venues across Miami-Dade and for the first time at Union City. For specific event details please visit the festival website here.

Event Details

Starting Thursday, January 5, 2017, the Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces department and Rickenbacker Causeway Park Operations will premiere the new “Thursday Night Food Truck Round-Up” at Virginia Key across from MAST Academy and Miami Marine Stadium. Enjoy a wide variety of culinary treats served up by popular gourmet food truck vendors, along with picturesque views of Biscayne Bay.

The event will be held every Thursday (weather permitting), with the exception of these block out dates: Feb. 16 (Progressive Miami International Boat Show and Strictly Sail) and March 23 & 30 (Miami Open Tennis Tournament).

The Perez Art Museum is hosting a free monthly program for all museum visitors.

Wouldn’t it be nice to take an afternoon or morning to paint something? Studies show that painting helps with coping in many different aspects of life. It is known to inspire creativity, it helps with memory loss, it gives you a sense of well being, it helps with stress, it causes you to do better at problem solving and it improves your motor skills. Sp why not kill many birds with one stone at Perez Art Museum?

“Made at PAMM” features art-making sessions in the galleries. On Thursday September 7 get inspired by the artwork of Haroon Mirza and navigate sound waves. Visitors can drop-in to create album covers, play electronic instruments, and record with local musician and the “Trailblazer of Noise,” Rat Bastard.

Led by PAMM teaching artists, this program facilitates interactive and engaging museum experiences with an emphasis on an intergenerational learning experience. Share your creation on social media using the hashtag #MadeAtPAMM.
